Three Horrid Little Pigs

I love fairy tales and so do kids. Everyone knows the story about the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. This book gives us a different point-of-view.

The three little pigs in this story are rude, lazy and mean little brats. They are so bad that they are driving their mother crazy. Mother Pig kicks the little pigs out of the house and they go out into the world to find a new place to live.

The first little pig piles up some straw around himself. A kind wolf, who happens to be a carpenter, is passing by and offers to help the little pig with his house. The rude little pig yells at the wolf and threatens to HUFF and PUFF and KICK HIM OUT! The wolf only wanted to help so he goes on his way.

The kind wolf eventually meets the other wolf brothers and offers to help them build their houses. The wolf gets the same rude and nasty responses from the brothers.

Well, things do not work out for the three little pigs and they soon find themselves homeless. They head for the wolf's strong, cozy brick house.

I like this book because the wolf is totally kind and good. He is all about helping others. Yes, the story has a happy ending and the reader wants to grow up and be just like the kind carpenter wolf.
